Discussion includes his early musical influences; working with different bands, including the Double H Boys and Shorty Joe & the Red Rock Canyon Cowboys; performing on local television; the guitar style of "Thumbs" Carlisle; different venues he performed at; comments on performances by George Jones and Lefty Frizzell; meeting Hank Williams; his band, the West Coast All Stars; acting as his own booking agent; and comments on why dance halls faded out.
